***How to Sign
up? Follow the link above to the Northeast Alpaca Expo
registration and sign up for your Expo animal entries.
Then go to the North American Alpaca Show website,
www.NAAlpacaShow.com
and sign up for everything you need to sign up for there,
stalls, sponsorships, performance exhibition, vendor spaces,
meals and NAAS animal entries, etc..
You do have to visit both
sites to sign up for both shows. If you wish to just sign
up for the NAAS entries then you only have to visit that site.
If you are choosing to just sign up for the Expo you will have
to still go to the NAAS site and sign up for your stalling and
anything else you would like to include and then go to the Expo
site and sign up for your Expo entries. Of course, if you
have any questions do not hesitate to ask.***
This year's judging line up is:
Jude Anderson -
All Male Alpacas
Peter Kennedy -
All Female Alpacas
This year's show will be judged on a 60/40 basis. We
are going to have two rings; one for males and another for
females. Not to worry, for you performance bugs, we will
have time for you in the show as well because we will have
exhibition performance classes on Friday evening with a Judge to
be announced at a later date.
The show will be offering some new and exciting seminars, all
free of charge. Please look at the schedule of events and
seminar outlines which will be online soon. Due to space
limitations some seminars will be limited to 30 attendees on a
first come, first served basis. Also at this year's show
we will be holding a silent auction with proceeds benefitting
the Nunoa Project and the Camelid Studies program both headed by
Dr. Steve Purdy. Both of these very noble and worthwhile
programs need our support. If you would like to donate
items for the auction or money to help
with the effort you can visit
www.nunoaproject.org.
Please remember that the weather
in early spring can be unpredictable in New England, so come
prepared! Should you have any questions relating to the
show, please don't hesitate to get in touch with one of the
organizing farms.
Don 't forget to send your AOA
Alpaca Registration's,
Exhibitor's
Disclosure Form, & Owner of Record for Show Entry Form (if
applicable) to the Show Superintendent.
Show
Superintendent: Kevin O'Leary.
